There were 317 clashes on the front: which directions are the hottest?

Russian troops continue to press almost along the entire front line. Over the past 24 hours, 317 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. The most difficult situation remains in the Pokrovsky direction, where the occupiers have carried out dozens of assaults.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 8:00 a.m. on May 28.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 68 air strikes, dropping 202 guided bombs. In addition, it used 8,359 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,714 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 45 from multiple rocket launcher systems.

Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile troops, and artillery have struck seven areas of enemy manpower concentration.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the aggressor carried out one air strike using one anti-aircraft missile system, carried out 69 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including four using MLRS. Four enemy assault actions were recorded.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchansk, Prylipka and in the direction of Izbitskyi and Ternova.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders stopped nine enemy attempts to advance towards the settlements of Kivsharivka, Nova Kruglyakivka and in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Holubivka, and Pishchane.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 11 times in the direction of Lyman, Drobyshevy, Torsky, Yampol, and in the areas of Kolodyazy, Stavky, and Shandryholovy.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy stormed eight times towards the settlements of Zakitne, Kaleniki, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted three offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Fedorivka Druhya and Minkivka.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 66 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Zatyshok, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske and towards the settlements of Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Serhiivka, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Myrne, Novopavlivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once, in the area of the settlement of Zlagoda.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the invaders carried out 35 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillya, Pryluky, Zaliznychne and towards Novy Zaporizhzhia, Hulyaipillya, Olenokostyantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryvillya, Vozdvizhivka, Svyatopetrivka, Girky, Tsvitkivka and Charivny.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders stopped nine enemy attempts to advance in the areas of the settlements of Stepnohirsk, Shcherbaki, Plavni, Maly Shcherbaki, and Maly Tokmachka.

The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
