There were 44 battles in the war – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat clashes along the entire front line has reached 44, according to the General Staff’s report.

The invaders are striking areas of settlements bordering the Russian Federation. Artillery shelling has targeted Galaganovka in the Chernihiv region, and Rudenko, Novovasilovka, Studenok, Sosnovka, Starikove, and Belaya Bereza in the Sumy region.

Today, Ukrainian forces repelled three attacks by the invaders in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy also launched three airstrikes, using six guided bombs, and fired 71 shells, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled two attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk and Ambarne in the South Slobozhansky direction, and one combat contact continues.

The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Kupyansk direction.

In the Liman direction today, the aggressor attacked three times in the areas of the settlements of Kolodets, Torskoye and in the direction of the settlement of Stavki.

In the Seversky direction, the Defense Forces repelled four enemy advance attempts near Fedorovka, Serebryanka, Yampol, and Dronovka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy once attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the direction of Predtechino and was repulsed.

In the Toretsk direction today, the invaders attempted to advance five times in the areas of Shcherbinovka, Stepanovka, Pleshcheyevka, Poltavka and Rusiny Yar, two of which are still ongoing.

Today, in the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions 18 times near the settlements of Krasny Liman, Lisovka, Zverevo, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, and in the direction of Mirnohrad, Rodynske, and Balagan. One clash is still ongoing.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks near the village of Ternovo and in the direction of the village of Andreyevka-Klevtsovo. Another clash is ongoing.

In the Hulyai-Polye area, our defenders are repelling two enemy attacks near Poltavka, and fighting continues. Enemy aircraft have struck Zheleznodorozhny and Novoselovka.

In the Orekhovo direction, the invaders did not carry out offensive operations.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy made two unsuccessful offensive attempts and suffered losses. The enemy launched an air strike on the village of Olgivka.
