On Wednesday, April 22, 49 military clashes were recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front, with the most intense fighting continuing in the Pokrovsky direction.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
According to military data, over the course of the day, the occupiers carried out 20 assaults in the Pokrovsk direction, in the areas of Sofiyivka, Novopavlovka, Toretsky, Rodynsky, Myrnohrad, Grishine, Kotlinye, Udachny, and in the direction of Kucherov Yar. Three combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the Konstantinovka direction, the enemy launched nine attacks near Konstantinovka, Pleshcheyeivka, Ivanopol, and Illinovka. In the Hulyai-Polye direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten assaults.
Two attacks have been recorded in the Kupyansk direction, with one battle ongoing. One assault each occurred in the Limansk and Oleksandrivsk directions, and Ukrainian forces repelled one attack in Kramatorsk.
At the same time, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the South Slobozhansky, Slavyansk and Dnieper directions.
Shelling in the border area also continues. In Sumy Oblast, Ryzhevka, Bachevsk, Golyshevskoye, Korenok, Budki, and Malushino came under fire, while Chernetskoye and Svobodnaya Sloboda suffered airstrikes.
