There were 56 battles at the front – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, 56 combat clashes have occurred on the front. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding their lines, and thwarting Russian plans.

This was stated in a statement by the General Staff.

Over the course of 24 hours, the enemy launched artillery shelling from Russian territory in the areas of the settlements of Bobilovka, Kucherivka, Tovstodubovo, and Novaya Guta in the Sumy region; and Khrenovka in the Chernihiv region.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by the invaders. The enemy launched three airstrikes, dropping eight guided bombs, and fired 73 shells, including one from a multiple launch rocket system.

Since the start of the day, Defense Forces have repelled three enemy attacks in the Yuzhno-Slobozhansky direction, with another clash ongoing. The enemy is attacking near Vovchansk, Bologovka, Stroyevka, and Kolodezne.

In the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers are repelling an enemy attack in the Peschanoye area.

In the Liman direction, two military clashes occurred near the settlements of Drobyshevo and Derilovo, one of which is still ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, Russian forces attempted to advance on our troop positions five times in the areas of Serebryanka, Seversk, Vyemka, and Fedorovka. Defense forces halted all enemy attacks.

There are currently no military clashes recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the invaders attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Pleshcheyevka, Rusin Yar, and Sofiyivka; the battle continues in one location.

In the Pokrovsk direction, clashes of varying intensity erupted 20 times a day near the settlements of Vladimirovka, Mirnohrad, Novoekonomicheskoe, Krasny Liman, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, and Filial. Five of these clashes are still ongoing.

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the aggressor attempted to advance 10 times near the settlements of Andreyevka-Klevtsovo, Sosnovka, Verbovoye, Privolnoye, Novovasilovka, and Novogrigoryevka. Six combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Hulyai-Pole area, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling an infidel attack near Malinivka. Rivne, Hulyai-Pole, and Malinivka were hit by airstrikes.

In the Orekhov area, the enemy twice attempted to advance on our units’ positions in the Novodanilovka and Stepnoye areas. Zaporizhzhia suffered an airstrike.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy twice attempted to approach the positions of our defenders in the direction of the Antonovsky Bridge, one battle is still ongoing.

“Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in the rear,” the statement said.
