There were 65 battles in the war: what is the situation in the Pokrovsky direction

The defense forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deep into Ukrainian territory. Since the beginning of the day, 65 combat clashes have occurred.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff.

Today, communities of border settlements suffered from enemy artillery fire, in particular: Gorki, Novovasilovka, Maryino, Slavgorod, Seredina-Buda, Sosnovka, Yastrubino, Kucherovka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Khodyno, Kozino, Prokhody in Sumy Oblast; Progress in Chernihiv Oblast. The settlements of Zhikhovo, Boyaro-Lezhachi in Sumy Oblast; Krasny Khutor in Chernihiv Oblast were hit by air strikes.

Four combat clashes have occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions since the beginning of the day. In addition, the enemy carried out 13 air strikes, dropped 32 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 131 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled three enemy attacks near the settlements of Volchansk and Kamenka. Two more combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian infidels tried to break through our defenses in the areas of the settlements of Petrovpavlovka and Zagryzovo. In total, since the beginning of the day, two military clashes have occurred in this direction.

In the Liman direction, the invading army carried out eight attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Karpovka, Shandrigolovo, Kolodets, Yampol, and Grigorovka. One combat clash continues.

In the Seversk direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Grigorovka, Serebryanka, Fedorovka, Pereyezdnoye and in the direction of Seversk.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped the enemy attack in the Orekhovo-Vasylovka area.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out six assault operations near Pleshcheyevka, Stepanovka, Yablonovka and Rusiny Yar.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 29 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Poltavka, Vladimirovka, Fedorovka, Novoekonomicheskoe, Rodinskoye, Suhetskoye, Luch, Pokrovsk, Zverevoye, Udachnoye, Dachnoye, Novoukrainka. The defense forces are holding back the pressure and have repelled 24 enemy attacks, five combat contacts are still ongoing.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Kamyshevakha, Zelenoe Pole, Maliyevka, Zaporozhskoye, Olgovka. The defense forces successfully repelled two enemy assault actions, three more attacks are still ongoing.

In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the occupiers launched an air strike on the settlement of Belogorie.

Today the enemy did not undertake any offensive actions in the Orekhov direction.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks by infidels towards Primorsky, Antonovsky bridges and Belogrudy Island.

“In other directions, there will be no significant changes,” the statement said.
