General Staff: 66 Combat Engagements Reported on the Front Lines in the Past Day

Russian forces continue their assaults on Ukrainian positions, with 66 combat engagements recorded since the start of the day, according to the General Staff.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 66 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day, as Russian forces continue attempts to breach Ukrainian defensive lines.

Settlements near the border in the Sumy region—including Bobilivka, Kucherivka, Brusky, Maryine, Uhroidy, Pokrovka, Popivka, Ryasne, and Luhivka—came under fire from Russian territory.

In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, Ukrainian forces repelled five enemy assaults, with one battle still ongoing. Since the beginning of the day, Russian forces have carried out two airstrikes, dropping a total of four guided bombs, and launched 157 artillery attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the Southern Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled a Russian assault near Vovchansk; two combat clashes are still underway.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian troops attempted two unsuccessful assaults near the settlement of Petropavlivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks near Karpivka, Ridkodub, and toward Shandryholove and Yampolivka. Four clashes remain ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy assault toward Hryhorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces made two unsuccessful attempts to advance toward Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults near Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and in the direction of Stepanivka. One battle is still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces have attempted 28 assaults since morning, targeting positions near Poltavka, Raziine, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Zvereve, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novoukrainka, and in the direction of Vladimyrivka and Rodynske. Ukrainian troops have repelled 24 of these attacks.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops attacked 10 times in the vicinity of Zaporizke, Zvezda, Poddubne, Tolste, Shevchenko, Novosilka, and toward Temyrivka. Three clashes are ongoing.

In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy launched an airstrike near the settlements of Veselianka, Hryhorivka, and Stepnohirsk.
In the Orikhiv direction, the infidels once tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Malye Shcherbaki. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of settlements in Belogorye.

In the Dnipro direction, the enemy carried out one attack, but had no success.

“The situation in other areas of the front has not undergone any significant changes,” the report says.
