There were 78 battles at the front – General Staff

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the advance of the Russian occupiers. The total number of combat clashes is currently 78.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff.

Today, the communities of the settlements of Galaganovka in the Chernihiv region, Progress, Seredina-Buda, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Yasna Polyana in the Sumy region suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire, as well as air strikes – Gremyach in the Chernihiv region; Novaya Sloboda and Chernatskoye in the Sumy region.

There were two enemy attacks in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The invaders’ aircraft carried out three strikes, dropping five guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy carried out 122 artillery attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, seven of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, fighting continues in the Volchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Sinkovka and Stepnaya Novoselovka three times; two attacks by Russian occupiers were repelled, and another battle continues.

In the Liman direction today the invading army carried out 15 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of Zelenaya Dolina, Kolodets, Mirnoye, Torskoye, Yampol and in the direction of Yampol and Grigoryevka. Currently, four combat clashes are ongoing.

In the Seversky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked twice near Pereyezdnoye and in the direction of Fedorovka.

The enemy did not take any active actions in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attempts to penetrate our defenses in the areas of Toretskaya, Shcherbinovka, Yablonovka and Poltavka; another clash is ongoing. Konstantinovka came under enemy bombardment.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian infidels have made 32 attempts to push our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Vladimirovka, Mayak, Nikanorovka, Novoekonomicheskoe, Krasny Liman, Rodinskoye, Luch, Grodovka, Lisovka, Zverevo, Udachnoye, Novomikolaev. The defense forces are holding off the pressure and have already repelled 31 attacks. Enemy aviation carried out an air strike on the area of the settlement of Dobropolye.

In the Novopavlovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped eight assaults by enemy troops in the areas of the settlements of Grushevka, Zelenaya Roshcha, Temirovka, Voskresenka, Zelenoye Pole and in the direction of Kamyshevakha, four more clashes are ongoing.

In the Gulyai-Polye direction the enemy did not carry out any assault actions, but launched an air strike on Belogorye.

In the Orekhovo direction, no offensive actions by the enemy have been recorded yet.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy launched an airstrike on the village of Odradokamenka and made four unsuccessful attempts to approach the positions of Ukrainian units.
