There were 88 battles at the front – General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 88 combat clashes on the front. Our defenders are stopping the enemy, holding the lines and ruining the plans of the Russians.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff.

The following areas of populated areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling: Korenok, Shalygino, Novovasilovka, Rivne, Kazachye, Malushino, Seredina-Buda in Sumy Oblast; Nikolaevka, Bogdanovo, Dibrova, Galaganovka, Zhelezny Most in Chernihiv Oblast.

There were two combat clashes in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, one of which is still ongoing. Today, the enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropping 15 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 70 shellings, including two from multiple launch rocket systems. At the same time, our units carried out active operations in the areas of several populated areas of the Sumy region. They were successful, advancing up to 150 meters in some areas and inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, eight military clashes took place in the area of Volchansk and in the direction of Otradnoye, three enemy attacks are still ongoing.

Two combat clashes are continuing in the Kupyansk direction. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has advanced four times on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Kupyansk, Petrovpavlovka, Novaya Kruglyakovka and in the direction of Kurilovka.

Ten combat clashes took place in the Liman direction today, four of which are still ongoing. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Shandrigolovo and Drobyshevo.

In the Seversky direction, the enemy carried out seven attacks today in the areas of Grigorovka, Serebryanka, Dronovka, Vyemka, and another combat clash is still ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled one attack by the occupier. The enemy was conducting offensive actions, trying to advance in the Stupochki area.

The defense forces stopped the enemy attack in the Toretsk direction. The invader tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Poltavka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian troops have tried 28 times to advance on the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Nikanorovka, Mayak, Novoekonomicheskoe, Rodinskoye, Mirolyubovka, Lisovka, Zverevoye, Kotlino, Udachnoye, Muravka, Dachnoye, Filial and in the direction of the settlement of Pokrovsk. Our defenders have already repelled 24 attacks, the fighting continues.

In the Novopavlovskoye direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy attacks near the settlements of Ivanovka, Filial, Zelenaya Roshcha, Tolstoy, Maliyevka, Kamyshevakha, Olgovskoye, Poltavka and in the direction of Novoivanovka. Five more enemy attacks are ongoing.

In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the occupiers carried out air strikes on the settlements of Belogorye and Zheleznodorozhnoye.

The enemy did not carry out any offensive actions in the Orekhov direction.

In the Dnieper direction, the aggressor carried out one useless attack towards the positions of our defenders. Odradokamenka suffered an air strike.
