There were over 70 clashes at the front: where the enemy is attacking most actively

Since the beginning of the day on December 7, 78 combat clashes have occurred at the front between the Defense Forces and the Russian occupiers.

This was reported by the General Staff.

The Pokrovsky direction recorded the most fighting on the front line. The Russian invaders made 27 attempts to push the Ukrainian defenders from their occupied positions towards Novy Shakhovye, Novy Donbas, Bilytskyi, Rodynskyi, Myrnograd, Molodetskyi, Novopavlivka and in the areas of the settlements of Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and have already repelled 21 enemy attacks, six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Hulyaipil direction, 13 combat clashes took place in the direction of Rybne, Dobropil, Zelenye, and Hulyaipil. Five combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 13 assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka and towards the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka. Two combat clashes are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders are trying to break through the defenses near Yalta, Sosnivka, Verbovye, Zlagoda, Krasnohirske, Pryvilny, Solodky. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled nine enemy assaults.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out seven attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near Hrekivka, Derylovye, Zarechny, Myrne and in the directions of Oleksandrivka and Stavye. One combat clash is ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled three attacks: the invading units tried to advance near Yampol and Serebryanka.

Two clashes are taking place in the South-Slobozhansk direction of the Defense Forces. The enemy is trying to advance in the Vovchansk area.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched two unsuccessful attacks towards Novoandreyevka and Prymorske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army made an unsuccessful attempt to break through the defense of the Ukrainian defenders in the Chasovy Yar area.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried to approach the Defense Forces in the area of the Antoniv Bridge.
