As of 4:00 p.m. on June 28, 71 combat clashes had occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Along the entire line of combat engagement, the hottest is in the Pokrovske direction . There, the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 29 times in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myrne, Myrolyubivka, Malynivka, Koptev, Promyn, Lysivka, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka. Fighting continues in three locations.
In the Lymansky direction, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 10 times in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Novoyehorivka, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Torske and in the direction of Serebryanka and Hryhorivka. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, Russian units carried out 6 attacks on Defense Forces positions in the Vovchansk and Stroivka areas. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, 6 clashes have occurred since the beginning of the day, one of which is currently ongoing.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy tried to advance 5 times near the village of Hryhorivka – all the enemy’s attempts to advance to the positions of our units were repulsed.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Golubivka, Stepovaya Novoselivka, and Zeleny Gay four times. Two clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Novopavlivske direction, the Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Yalta, Zaporizhzhia, Dniproenergia, and Shevchenko. Two more clashes are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops 4 times in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Toretsk, Leonidivka and towards Yablunivka. Currently, one battle is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled 2 enemy attempts to advance towards Bila Hora.
