There will be more “Phantoms” on the roads of Ukraine: regions named

Ukraine wants to increase the number of Phantom police cars, which discreetly record violations on the roads. More of these cars are planned to be sent to Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, and there may also be more of them in Kyiv region.

This was reported by the head of the Patrol Police Department, Oleksiy Biloshitsky.

According to him, plans to increase the number of Phantoms have already been announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs. When the police receive additional vehicles, they will identify the roads where they are needed most.

Biloshitskyi noted that the Phantoms are definitely planned to be used more actively in the Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The police may also increase patrols in the Kyiv region.

It has not yet been announced when the new Phantoms will hit the roads.

Phantoms are unmarked police cars that look like regular cars. They can automatically detect speeding while driving.
