Three residents of Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy regions were reported on suspicion of supporting Russian aggression, spreading Kremlin propaganda, and calling for action in favor of the occupiers. According to the investigation, the suspects justified the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine, glorified Russian military personnel, and distributed anti-Ukrainian materials on the Internet.

According to law enforcement officials, a local resident was exposed in the Kharkiv region who, in social media chats, called on the Russians to strike the government quarter in Kyiv with an Oreshnik ballistic missile.

“In this way, she suggested to the racists to eliminate the top military-political leadership of Ukraine,” the SBU noted.

In Kyiv, suspicion fell on a man who, according to investigators, left approving comments under anti-Ukrainian publications and used several anonymous accounts for this purpose.

Law enforcement officers documented that he called for the seizure of the entire territory of Ukraine, justified the crimes of the Russian military, and glorified the occupation groups.

Another suspect was exposed in Cherkasy region. This is the deputy head of one of the national reserves in Kaniv, who, according to the investigation, spread fake news about the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the situation on the front.

In addition, the woman justified Russia’s full-scale invasion and called for support for Russian troops.

The special service reported that the facts of illegal activity were confirmed by forensic linguistic expertise.

The suspects have been charged under a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. If found guilty, they face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
