Four more children were returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories as part of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
This was written by the head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak.
Among the children who were saved was a 15-year-old girl who, despite Russian control, continued to wear an embroidered vyshyvanka to school. For this, she was bullied and beaten, and teachers wrote denunciations and threatened to deprive her mother of parental rights.
A brother and sister, an 8-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, also returned from the occupation. Their parents were threatened with the removal of their children for refusing to attend a Russian school.
In addition, a 17-year-old boy who had been drafted into the army by the Russians was rescued. According to Yermak, several of his classmates have already been drafted.
“I am grateful to the Save Ukraine team and other partners for their help in rescuing these children. We are fulfilling the President’s task — to return all the children,” the head of the OP concluded.
We will remind you that earlier, three children were returned to Ukraine from Russia and the temporarily occupied territories – two teenagers, 16 and 17 years old, and an 8-year-old girl.
