They pretended to be equipment: a new exit scheme was exposed in the Odessa region

Border guards on the outskirts of Izmail, Odesa region, have uncovered an attempt to illegally cross the state border. Three men were transported to Romania using specially equipped hiding places in trucks.
According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the inspection of two MAN trucks was carried out during the transport to the border. The border guards had suspicions about the design features of the trailers.
During the inspection, it was found that three men were in the shafts of the telescopic hydraulic cylinders, which are intended for lifting the body. They turned out to be residents of Zaporizhia, Khmelnytskyi and Donetsk regions. They did not have documents giving the right to legally leave Ukraine.
According to the State Border Service of Ukraine, the transportation was organized by a father and son who had hidden compartments in their trucks. During the journey, the men were in the cabs, but when approaching checkpoints, they hid in cramped, unventilated spaces, risking their lives.
Each of the “passengers”, according to preliminary data, was supposed to pay 8 thousand US dollars for such a trip.
As a result, the attempted illegal crossing was stopped. Criminal proceedings were opened against the organizers under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – “Illegal smuggling of persons across the state border of Ukraine.”
Administrative reports were drawn up against the men themselves for attempting to violate the rules of crossing the border.
As a reminder, in Vinnytsia region, border guards of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi detachment detained a 48-year-old resident of Khmelnytskyi region who was about to illegally cross the state border by paragliding.
As reported, the National Police of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine exposed a powerful criminal group that was selling fake documents and copies of the official mobile applications “Diya” and “Rezerv+”.
