Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Kyiv may switch to the predicted power outage schedules in the coming days.
He wrote about this on Telegram.
According to him, the situation in the power system remains difficult. Emergency power outages are still in effect in the capital.
Energy experts have developed a number of technical solutions that will allow for the transition to planned outages. However, the minister warned that the schedules will be strict.
“160 crews worked to restore light and heat during the day. At night, 52 crews will be deployed on site. We must be ready for any scenarios,” he noted.
Separately, Shmyhal noted that the work of heat generation has been partially stabilized. Currently, more than 3,200 houses in Kyiv are without heating.
“124 generators of various capacities are deployed at critical points in the city. Also, 91 State Emergency Service assistance points have been deployed in the city at 68 locations. Work to restore heat generation is ongoing,” added the head of the Ministry of Energy.
DTEK previously stated that it is currently impossible to switch to power outage schedules in Kyiv .
As is known, as of the morning of January 21 , about 4,000 homes in Kyiv remain without heat supply, and almost 60% of the city remains without electricity .
By the way, the Russians have changed the tactics of shelling Ukrainian energy facilities : previously, the occupiers dispersed attacks across several areas, but now they are concentrating strikes on a specific region or large city.
