Yuriy Gudymenko, the head of the Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said that inspections of sports halls with the participation of representatives of the CCC are necessary. According to him, Ukraine is working to “restore order” with military conscripts who have reservations.
This is reported by Radio NV .
Gudymenko said that he is outraged by the situation when gyms are filled with men of draft age, while scandals arise around the activities of the CCK due to abuse of authority.
“I’m naturally tired of simultaneously seeing gyms completely filled with some ducks, who are obviously booked by someone, but they are obviously not at work right now, and at the same time watching a video about how we have another scandal because the CCC exceeded its powers,” said Gudymenko.
According to him, the situation needs to be resolved, and appropriate solutions are already being worked on.
“This situation needs to be brought to order,” he said.
Gudymenko also noted that he could not disclose details of possible inspections or mechanisms for their implementation.
“I cannot provide details because, firstly, I am not Rustem Umerov and I do not tell closed stories, and secondly, because I am not involved enough in these issues to speak about them confidently,” added the head of the Anti-Corruption Council under the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada registered a bill that is supposed to change the rules of work for employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCC) . This concerns the mandatory identification of servicemen during mobilization events.
