On December 29, US President Donald Trump had a new telephone conversation with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
This was reported by White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt.
Trump had already spoken with Putin before meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The new phone call is dedicated to the results of discussions with the Ukrainian President.
Details of the conversation between Trump and Putin have not been made public in the US, but Levitt called it “good.”
In turn, the dictator’s assistant Yuriy Ushakov stated that Trump was allegedly shocked and outraged by “the attempted attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Putin’s residence.”
According to him, the American president allegedly stated that this would affect US approaches in interacting with Zelensky.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that a new telephone conversation between Trump and Putin is planned in the near future .
