The individuals in the published NABU recordings discussed close contacts with the leadership of the State Bureau of Investigation, the possibility of influencing criminal proceedings through parliamentary inquiries, and organizing the dissemination of negative information in the media.
This is discussed in the material of Censor.NET.
During the court hearing, it became clear that on July 9, 2025, Myronyuk, together with Basov, sent two parliamentary requests from people’s deputies on agreed topics. The prosecutor reported that Myronyuk claimed the opportunity to influence processes through a temporary investigative commission and legislative initiatives, which could create a risk of obstructing criminal proceedings.
On the same day, Basov informed Myronyuk about the need to involve SBI officers to obtain search permits, as well as the possible involvement of the Prosecutor General’s Office and the SBU to put pressure on individuals.
The NABU records also record that Basov reported on the organization of publications of negative information, and Myronyuk reported on the criminal prosecution of former Supervisory Board member Boyko and the placement of commissioned articles in the media in Brussels and the United Kingdom.
On October 14, 2025, Myronyuk reported that his close contacts with the leadership of the State Bureau of Investigation would allow him to obtain information on the progress and prospects of pre-trial investigations in specific criminal proceedings.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO are conducting a large-scale operation “Midas” to expose corruption in the energy sector . According to the investigation, the activities of a high-level criminal organization were established, which controlled financial flows and personnel decisions in state energy structures.
