Thousands of soldiers eliminated: Zelenskyy named Russian losses near Dobropillya

During the Dobropil counter-offensive operation, the Russian army suffered significant losses – thousands of occupiers were eliminated.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy based on the results of the report of Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky.
“We talked with him for almost an hour – on all front lines, on the training of our brigades, on support. Special attention now, of course, is paid to the Dobropil operation,” the report says.
Since its beginning, the occupation army has lost more than 12,000 soldiers, of which more than 7,000 were irretrievably killed.
“The Russians already have more than 12,000 losses, and this is only there, only in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillya areas, precisely since August 21,” Zelensky explained.
He emphasized that defense continues in other areas of the front — in the Novopavlivske direction, Ukrainian units are carrying out active defensive actions and achieving “good” results.
“Kupyansk — I want to thank each of our soldiers who are fighting now in the city and its surroundings,” the president added.
As a reminder, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine thwarted a Russian offensive operation in the Pokrovska and Dobropillya areas . Ukrainian units inflicted significant losses on the occupiers and deprived the enemy of the opportunity to launch a full-fledged offensive in this direction.
Earlier, during counteroffensive operations in the Dobropol direction , Ukrainian troops managed to advance 3 to 7 kilometers deep into the enemy.
As is known, in the Dobropol direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted successful counteroffensive actions – probably three “cauldrons” for the Russians in the area of Kucherovy Yar, Volodymyrivka, and on the Razine-Novotoretske line.
By the way, Oleksandr Syrsky, based on the results of a working trip to the Donetsk region, stated that the Defense Forces had cut off the Dobropil salient .
