Three out of nine nuclear units are being repaired: Shmyhal spoke about the energy situation

Of the nine nuclear power units under Ukrainian control, three are currently undergoing repairs. Repairs have already been completed on five more units.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal announced this in the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, as of the end of August, Ukraine has about 15 GW of generating capacity. By November 1, this figure is planned to be increased to 19.6 GW, and by the end of the year – to 21.4 GW.
At the same time, Shmyhal noted that these plans will depend on the situation and may change if Russian troops again damage the restored energy facilities.
Currently, nuclear power plants provide over 40% of all generation in Ukraine. Another 20% comes from thermal power plants, and 15% from hydropower.
In total, the state has already restored 4.8 GW of capacity, with about 4 GW still under repair.
