Thunderstorms and heavy rains: what will the weather be like in Ukraine on June 18

On Thursday, June 18, warm weather will remain in Ukraine, but rain and thunderstorms are expected in a number of regions. Forecasters predict the most precipitation in the south and east of the country.

This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

According to weather forecasters, moderate rains will occur in the southern, eastern, and most central regions. In the Odessa and Mykolaiv regions, significant precipitation is possible in places at night.

“On June 18, moderate rains, thunderstorms in places in the southern, eastern, night, and most central regions,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center reported.

At the same time, no significant precipitation is forecast in the west of the country and in most northern regions.

The air temperature at night will be from +9 to +14 degrees, and in the south and southeast – up to +19 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +20…+25 degrees.

Light rain is expected in Kyiv on Thursday. At night, the thermometer will show +13…+15 degrees, during the day – about +22 degrees.

Forecasters also note that warm weather will persist at the end of the week. However, some regions will experience periodic short-term rains with thunderstorms.
