Thunderstorms, hail and strong winds: Kyiv region warned of bad weather

Residents of Kyiv and the Kyiv region have been warned of a sharp deterioration in the weather. Thunderstorms will cover the region in the coming hours, with hail and strong winds possible in some places.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported this on Facebook.

According to weather forecasters, the bad weather will last until the end of the day on June 22. Hail may fall in some areas of the region, and wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s.

Due to adverse weather conditions, the first level of danger (yellow) has been declared in Kyiv and the region.

The Hydrometeorological Center notes that thunderstorms and strong winds can complicate traffic, as well as affect the work of energy, utility, and construction services.
