To justify an attack on NATO: Russia is preparing a false flag operation on its own territory

Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that Russia could resort to a false flag operation to justify an attack on a NATO member state. He said that such a scenario cannot be ruled out within the next 2 years.
This is reported by CBS News .
Sikorsky stated that Russia could conduct a false flag operation on its own territory to use it as a pretext to attack one of the NATO countries.
“This will be completely unacceptable, and we will defend every centimeter of NATO territory,” Sikorsky said.
According to the Polish minister, Ukraine’s successful resistance has so far deprived Russia of the resources needed to effectively invade NATO’s eastern flank.
“Ukraine has certainly won in the Black Sea. Russia certainly does not have air supremacy over Ukraine. It can send missiles and drones, but it cannot fly freely over Ukraine. The ground war has reached a stalemate, and it seems that Ukraine has gained fire control over the strategic highway from Donbas to Crimea. Wars are never linear. They go through phases. But it seems that the phase when Russia had the initiative is over,” Sikorsky said.
He also emphasized that Ukraine and Poland must overcome their differences and focus on jointly confronting Russia.
“This is not about people throwing themselves into each other’s arms. This is about deciding not to repeat bad things and finding a better future together. And it is in this spirit that I hope we can handle relations with Ukraine,” Sikorsky said.
The minister added that Vladimir Putin cannot be allowed to take advantage of the differences between allies.
Previously, NATO intelligence sources warned that Russia could resort to military provocations in the Baltic states or Poland if it senses the approach of the front to Moscow and St. Petersburg. According to Western sources, this is not a full-scale attack, but a possible hybrid attack.
At the same time, a number of European countries have agreed to develop a joint plan for evacuating populations across land borders in the event of war. Representatives of 10 countries — Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Germany and Sweden — have signed an agreement on the protection of civilians in the Baltic Sea region and Northern Europe.
