To support Patriot and Starlink: US to sell Ukraine equipment worth over $300 million

The United States has agreed to sell more than $300 million in equipment to Ukraine to support Patriot systems and purchase and maintain Starlink.

This was reported by the US Department of Defense Defense Cooperation Agency (DSCA).

Specifically, the United States will provide engineering, technical, and logistics services for the Starlink terminals. In addition, the agreement will include software and logistics support from the U.S. government and the contractor, Starlink Services. The estimated value of these services is $150 million.

In addition, the State Department has approved the sale of Patriot systems and related equipment services for $179.1 million.

The package of services will include:

  • spare parts and software;
  • modification kits;
  • testing equipment and communication facilities;
  • repair;
  • storage and training;
  • technical assistance from American specialists.

The prime contractors under this agreement will be RTX Corporation and Lockheed Martin, the Pentagon’s Office of Defense Cooperation emphasizes.
