Traffic blocked: bridge damaged again in Chongar

In the Chonhar district in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, a bridge was again damaged after a second nighttime drone attack.

This was stated by the head of the region, Vladimir Saldo, appointed by the Russian authorities.

According to him, traffic on the bridge had to be completely blocked as a result of the impact. Relevant services are working on the scene to assess the extent of the damage.

Saldo also advised drivers to choose alternative routes through Armyansk and Perekop.

This is not the first time this bridge has been damaged. It has also been hit and partially broken before.

As reported, drones of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces struck a bridge in the Chongar area , which connects temporarily occupied Crimea with the Kherson region. The attack damaged the bridge deck, causing the occupation authorities to temporarily block traffic.
