Traffic in Kyiv to be partially restricted

From July 25 to 28, the movement of heavy vehicles will be temporarily restricted in Kyiv due to the heat.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration press service with reference to Kyivavtodor.

The restrictions will be in effect during the daytime when the air temperature exceeds +28°C to prevent the destruction of the road surface. The ban will apply to trucks weighing more than 24 tons and with an axle load of more than 7 tons.

The patrol police will monitor compliance with the restrictions. The Kyiv City State Administration called on drivers to be understanding of the temporary measures, noting that they have been introduced in accordance with the order of the city authorities since 2012 in case of high temperatures.
