On the night of Tuesday, April 21, drones attacked railway infrastructure facilities in the Rostov region of Russia. The area near the locations of military units was hit.

This was reported by the Astra Telegram channel, citing testimonies from local residents.

According to their data, the explosions occurred in the Novocherkassk region and neighboring settlements. One of the strikes was recorded near the railway infrastructure in the village of Persianivskyi, Oktyabrsky district. Several kilometers from this location are military facilities, in particular unit No. 22179.

Following the explosions at Likhaya station, train traffic was severely delayed. Passengers reported temporary suspension of train services in local chat rooms.

Rostov Region Governor Yuriy Slyusar announced the alleged destruction of more than 40 drones in Taganrog and a number of districts. At the same time, he confirmed disruptions in the railway infrastructure.

“As a result of the incident, the operation of the contact network was disrupted, which led to the stoppage of several trains in different directions,” a representative of the Russian authorities noted.

The movement of some trains was temporarily stopped in the areas of Novocherkassk and Kamenolomny stations.

As reported, after two strikes on Tuapse , the city recorded so-called “oil rain,” and a large oil slick formed in the Black Sea.
