Trukhanov’s preventive measure changed: former mayor of Odessa released from house arrest

The court changed the preventive measure for former Odessa mayor Gennady Trukhanov, canceling his house arrest.

As noted, the relevant decision was made by the Pecherskyi District Court in Kyiv.
In particular, Trukhanov’s previously adopted preventive measure was changed to a personal commitment.
In addition, the electronic bracelet was removed from the former mayor of Odessa.
It is known that the court ordered Trukhanov to be placed under 24-hour house arrest with the wearing of an electronic bracelet until December 28, 2025.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on the deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship from Odessa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
By the way, the Commission under the President has adopted a decision to deprive the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, of Ukrainian citizenship . After the president’s signature, his powers will automatically terminate, and the Secretary of the City Council, Ihor Koval, will begin to perform the duties of mayor.
