US President Donald Trump declared that the war against Iran is over.
Fox News journalist Maria Bartiromo said this after talking to him.
According to her, she spoke with Trump outside the White House. During the conversation, they touched on the economy, NATO, and the situation with Iran.
The journalist noticed that the president was talking about the war in the past tense, and decided to clarify whether this meant its end.
“I said to him, Mr. President, you are talking about the war in the past tense — ‘was.’ I asked, ‘Is it over?’ He said, ‘It is over,’” Bartiromo said.
There are no additional details about this statement yet. The journalist promised to release more information later.
As a reminder, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, threatened the United States with an increase in gasoline prices after US President Donald Trump’s statements about blocking the Strait of Hormuz.
As reported, US President Donald Trump said that the country’s naval forces will soon begin the process of blocking ships attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz.
