Trump believes it’s time for new sanctions against Russia – Senator Graham

US President Donald Trump is convinced that the time has come to pass a bill on new sanctions against Russia.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said this on ABC News .
“Yesterday, when we were playing golf, the president told me it was time for a bill,” Graham noted.
According to him, Trump is ready to sign the document once it is approved by American lawmakers.
At the same time, Congress plans to consider the bill next month, after a recess that ends on July 7.
Graham explained that the bill would impose 500% tariffs on imports from countries that buy Russian oil and other products, including China, India, and others.
As a reminder, House Speaker Mike Johnson expressed his support for renewed Congressional efforts to impose sanctions against the Kremlin over Russian President Vladimir Putin’s brutal war against Ukraine.
It is known that the desire to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation is noticeably growing in the US Senate . The bill that would introduce restrictions against Russia has garnered the support of more than 80 senators out of 100.
As reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that for the first time, the United States of America is coordinating future sanctions against Russia with the European Union.
By the way, US Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said that consideration of a bill on sanctions against Russia will begin soon.
