US President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House to discuss ways to end Russia’s war against Ukraine. Journalists have published five key conclusions from the talks.

During the talks, Trump rejected the possibility of providing Ukraine with long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, saying it would be “not easy” for Washington to provide such munitions.
Experts noted that Tomahawk missiles are capable of flying over long distances and at low altitudes, evading radar, which would significantly enhance Ukraine’s capabilities in striking Russian military targets.
After the meeting, Zelenskyy commented on the issue of missiles, stating: “No one has canceled this topic, we need to work on it more.”
Journalists also noted that the leaders demonstrated different visions of the possibility of peace with Russia. Trump expressed confidence in the prospect of ending the war, while Zelensky stressed that Putin refuses to cease fire, despite Washington’s demands.
During the meeting, the American president could not help but joke, commenting on Zelensky’s appearance: “I think he looks great in that jacket. He’s great. I hope people notice that. He’s very stylish.”
In addition, Trump criticized Spain for insufficient defense spending, accusing the country of failing to fulfill its NATO commitments.
