US President Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko before meeting with Vladimir Putin.

Donald Trump announced this on his social network Truth Social.

“I had a wonderful conversation with the esteemed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko. The purpose of the call was to express gratitude for the release of 16 prisoners. We also discussed the release of another 1,300 prisoners. Our conversation was productive,” the US President said.

Trump also added that he discussed many topics with Lukashenko, including Putin’s visit to Alaska.

“I look forward to meeting with President Lukashenko in the future,” said Donald Trump.

Previously, Donald Trump expressed his willingness to provide Ukraine with security guarantees, but on one condition – they must be outside the North Atlantic Alliance .

By the way, US Senator Lindsey Graham said that Russia and Ukraine should exchange territories to end the war. However, Ukraine should receive security guarantees .

As reported, US President Donald Trump said that he does not seek to impose new sanctions against Russia, preferring diplomacy and negotiations . At the same time, he emphasized his readiness to apply economic restrictions if the situation requires it.
