After his conversation with Putin on July 15, Trump plans to organize a meeting between Zelensky and Putin. Work is already underway in the United States to have this meeting take place next week.
This was reported by CBS News, citing its own sources.
Trump, during a conversation with European leaders, said that after meeting with the Russian dictator, he plans to hold a trilateral meeting with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The publication’s sources report that work on organizing a meeting between Zelensky and Putin is already underway, with the estimated date being the end of next week.
“The next meeting will be either between Zelensky and Putin, or between Zelensky, Putin and me,” Trump said.
As a reminder, Trump announced that he would travel to Russia on Friday, August 15, where he plans to meet with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin. It later became known that Trump and Putin would meet at Elmendorf-Richardson Air Force Base in Anchorage.
