US President Donald Trump has promised a $1 million reward for anyone who reports election fraud and helps secure the arrest and conviction of those involved. However, he did not explain where the money would come from or how to submit such reports.

This is reported by The Guardian.

Trump announced the reward on Monday, October 26, on the Truth Social network. According to him, the money will be available to those who expose violations during the past elections or the midterm elections for Congress, scheduled for November 2026. The reward is promised to be paid only after the suspects are arrested and convicted.

The US president later repeated this statement before boarding Air Force One. Trump was about to leave for Mississippi for a campaign rally. Speaking to reporters, he reiterated his willingness to pay a million dollars for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.

At the same time, the president did not specify where the funds for the rewards would come from. He also did not say where citizens should apply with their applications and what procedure they would follow to receive the money.

Trump has been claiming for several years that the 2020 presidential election was rigged, and that he actually defeated Joe Biden. However, these claims have not been supported by evidence, and numerous audits of the voting results have not found any fraud that could have changed the outcome of the election.

Trump’s new promise came on the eve of the midterm elections to the US Congress, which will be held in November 2026. In them, Americans will elect a new composition of the House of Representatives and part of the Senate.

Recall that a week before the midterm elections for the US Congress , 54% of Americans believe that President Donald Trump has committed offenses that could be grounds for impeachment.

As reported, the level of negative attitude of Americans towards US President Donald Trump continues to grow . The difference between positive and negative assessments of his activities has reached minus 19.8 percentage points. At the same time, the Polymarket platform estimates the Democrats’ chances of winning the Senate elections at 67%.

In addition, American voters are increasingly concerned about possible ethical violations in the administration of President Donald Trump . Discontent is growing against the backdrop of the rising cost of living and an unpopular war with Iran.
