US Vice President J.D. Vance said during a speech in North Carolina that US President Donald Trump wants to end the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, the American leader also wants to return to economic cooperation with both countries.

During his speech, J.D. Vance commented on Donald Trump’s approach to resolving the war between Ukraine and Russia. According to the US vice president, Trump seeks to stop the fighting and the death of civilians.
Vance emphasized that the US president also advocates for the resumption of economic cooperation after the end of the war.
“Donald Trump has made it clear that he wants the killing to stop. He wants to return to economic cooperation and stop the killing of innocent people. Personally, I admire that, it’s the right approach,” said J.D. Vance.
The US Vice President also noted that discussions are ongoing in the country regarding what Washington’s foreign policy should be in relations with Ukraine and Russia. According to him, these discussions concern the US’s further approach to resolving the conflict.
By the way, US Vice President J.D. Vance said that for Ukraine, the loss of Donetsk is a logically serious problem from a national security perspective.
It was previously reported that the American team is using pressure to persuade the Ukrainian side to adopt a peace agreement , which is supposed to end the war.
As is known, US representatives at the peace talks , Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, demanded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agree to the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk region , as Russia insists.
