Instead, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stressed that by attacking nuclear facilities, the US committed a serious violation of the UN Charter and international law, adding that Iran reserves the right to respond.
At the same time, the head of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Maryam Rajavi, assured that “the Iranian people welcome the end of the war and yearn for peace and freedom.”
“Khamenei is responsible for an unpatriotic project that, in addition to taking countless lives, cost the Iranian people at least $2 trillion – and now it’s all gone up in smoke,” she noted.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called on Iran to join a diplomatic solution to the situation and sit at the negotiating table.
“Given the new peak of tension in the Middle East, stability must be a priority. And respect for international law is crucial,” she wrote on the social network X.
France is convinced that it is necessary to resolve the relevant problem within the framework of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
“Iran’s nuclear program is a serious threat to international security. Iran must never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, and the United States has taken steps to mitigate this threat. The situation in the Middle East remains volatile, and stability in the region is a priority. We call on Iran to return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis,” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer added.
In addition, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is convinced that the US actions are an escalation of the situation in the region and a threat to international peace and security, which could have catastrophic consequences for the civilian population.
The United Arab Emirates expressed deep concern over tensions in the region and the attack on Iranian nuclear facilities and called for an immediate end to the escalation.
At the same time, Qatar has expressed serious concern and is monitoring developments following the “recent attacks on the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran.”
“Now we hope that after this attack, which caused enormous damage to nuclear weapons production and created a threat to the entire region, de-escalation can begin and Iran can sit at the negotiating table,” said Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani.
Australia stated that Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs pose a threat to international peace and security, therefore supporting Trump’s words that “now is the time for peace.”
Among other things, according to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Russia does not support the actions of the United States.
“With this kind of success, Trump will not receive the Nobel Peace Prize,” he concluded.
Venezuela and Cuba also condemned the US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

At the same time , Donald Trump’s administration is preparing for a potential response from Iran in the next 48 hours.
