The Tuapse oil refinery almost completely stopped operating after drone attacks.

Reuters writes about this.

According to Russian sources, drone strikes on April 16 and 20 seriously damaged the port infrastructure in Tuapse. The attacks caused oil storage facilities to catch fire, and the fires have yet to be fully extinguished.

Due to large-scale fires, the loading of products at the port stopped, which actually paralyzed the work of the oil refinery.

The agency’s interlocutors do not even give an approximate timeframe for the company’s resumption of operations, citing security considerations.

The Tuapse Refinery is primarily export-oriented and can process about 12 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces diesel, fuel oil, crude oil, and vacuum gas oil.

As previously reported, on the night of Thursday, April 16, in the Russian city of Tuapse (Krasnodar Territory), local residents reported a drone attack.

As a reminder, on the night of April 20, drones attacked the city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory of Russia, hitting a seaport and an oil refinery. The attack resulted in a large-scale fire, killing 1 person and injuring 1 more.
