Two Formula 1 Grand Prix under threat due to war in the Middle East
Two rounds of the Formula 1 championship may be canceled due to the worsening situation in the Middle East. These are the races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

According to the publication, Formula 1 management is considering the possibility of canceling these stages due to security issues amid the war in the region .
The final decision on the race should be announced within two days.
The Bahrain Grand Prix was scheduled to be held on April 12 , and the stage in Saudi Arabia on April 19 .
Sky News assumes that if these races are cancelled , they will not be replaced by other rounds. In this case, the 2026 Formula 1 season will be reduced to 22 races.
