Two large logistics centers in the Moscow region caught fire after a drone attack.

On the night of August 16, fires broke out at two major logistics facilities in the Moscow region of Russia. One of them was the largest warehouse of the Russian marketplace Wildberries, covering over 200,000 square meters.

This was reported by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Telegram channels.

According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, approximately 600 drones were allegedly moving toward the Moscow region overnight, 201 of which, he asserted, were destroyed by Russian air defense systems over the region’s territory.

Russian and Ukrainian media report that the attack resulted in a fire at Wildberries’ logistics complex in the village of Koledino near Podolsk. The facility covers over 200,000 square meters, making it the company’s largest warehouse center.

Another fire broke out on the territory of the Severnoye Domodedovo sorting and logistics complex.

There is currently no information on the extent of the damage or possible losses. The cause of the fire has not been officially confirmed, but it occurred amid a massive drone attack in the Moscow region.
