Two refineries and radar stations: Defense forces hit Russian targets in two regions

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important military, fuel and energy, and industrial facilities in Russia on the night of September 24-25. In particular, two oil refineries and two radar stations were hit.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In Perm, Perm Krai, the Russian Federation, the Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery was hit. A fire was recorded on the territory of the enterprise.
The refinery has a processing capacity of about 13 million tons of oil per year. The enterprise produces fuel and other petroleum products, as well as meets the needs of the Russian army in fuel and lubricants.
The Novoshakhtinsky oil refinery in Novoshakhtynsk, Rostov Oblast, Russia, was hit. A fire was also recorded on the company’s territory.
In addition, radar stations 64L6 “Gamma-S1” and 39N6 “Kasta-2E2” were hit in the Novoshakhtynsk area.
The Novoshakhtinsky refinery has a processing capacity of about 7.5 million tons of oil per year. It is one of the important suppliers of petroleum products to the south of the Russian Federation and participates in meeting the needs of the Russian troops.
The General Staff noted that the strikes on oil refining enterprises are aimed at reducing Russia’s military-economic potential.
“Work on the key military and infrastructure targets of the Russian aggressor continues,” the General Staff added.
