As of the morning of September 25, consumers in the Chernihiv and Mykolaiv regions were without power due to Russian drone attacks.
Ukrenergo reported this.
It was noted that over the past 24 hours and this morning, the enemy used attack drones to attack energy facilities in several regions. As a result, consumers in the Chernihiv and Mykolaiv regions were without power this morning.
“Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore the damaged equipment to operation as quickly as possible,” Ukrenergo noted.
Furthermore, electricity consumption as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday was 1.9% lower than the previous morning, thanks to clear weather in most regions, with the exception of parts of the western and southeastern regions. The change in weather is leading to high efficiency in residential solar power systems and a corresponding reduction in grid power consumption.
“Considering weather conditions, it’s advisable to shift active energy consumption to the period when solar power plants are most efficient. Please use high-power electrical appliances between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM,” advises Ukrenergo.
Let us recall that on the night of September 25, starting at 18:00 on September 24, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 176 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, and other types.
Also in Kherson, due to Russian shelling, the Korabel (Island) microdistrict was again left without electricity.
