Russian Jets Violate Restricted Airspace Over Baltic Sea Oil Platform

Two Russian fighter jets violated the security zone of a Polish drilling platform in the Baltic Sea, flying directly over the facility.
The corresponding message appeared on the official page of the Polish Border Guard in H.
It was reported that two Russian aircraft flew at low altitude over the Petrobaltic drilling platform.
“Two Russian fighter jets made a low pass over the Petrobaltic platform in the Baltic Sea, violating its security zone. The Polish Armed Forces and other relevant services have been notified,” the statement said.
Earlier, Estonia reported the incursion of three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets into its airspace, where they remained for 12 minutes. After the incident, the country’s Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian chargé d’affaires to hand him a note of protest. The incident occurred on September 19 over the Gulf of Finland.
The EU and NATO have reacted to the violation of Estonian airspace by Russian aircraft. The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, called the incident a dangerous provocation by Russia and stressed that this is the third such incident in recent days, which worsens the security situation in the region.
