Two trains collided in Lviv: there are injuries

In the Lviv region, a diesel train Lviv – Sokal collided with an electric locomotive while departing from Pidzamche station. The driver of the diesel train was injured as a result of the accident, and four other passengers are receiving medical assistance.

According to the company, the driver of the diesel train suffered a leg injury. The drivers of the electric locomotive were not injured.

Railway specialists and special services are working at the scene of the collision. They are investigating all the circumstances of the accident.
