“Twos with flags”: Russians are testing new assault tactics

The situation in the Oleksandrivka direction, near Pokrovsk, remains under control thanks to the efforts of Ukrainian defenders. At the same time, the Russian occupiers have begun to use a new assault tactic – “twos with flags.”

This was reported on the air of “Pryamoye” by the head of the communications department of the 110th separate mechanized brigade, Ivan Sekach.

According to him, the unit managed to level the front line at the end of the summer, although the enemy does not stop trying to break through. The defense forces border the Hulyaipil direction, where drone pilots and electronic warfare specialists are actively working.

“That is, they stopped using armored vehicles as such in general. Sometimes they go out in some cars, try to get through somehow, but mostly they send infantry in pairs, and there are a lot of them, they go and sometimes they put flags there,” the soldier says.

A brigade spokesman explained that the invaders use flags to demonstrate their presence in front of their drones, even if they have not actually captured the territory. In response, our military has begun to use armored vehicles equipped with Browning machine guns in a different way. Such equipment effectively destroys enemy groups that try to gain a foothold in buildings or infiltrate the defense line.

At the same time, logistics on the front line are increasingly provided by robotic complexes. In addition, the major spoke about prisoners who often invent legends about diseases to avoid responsibility.

Let us remind you that for some time now, Myrnograd in the Donetsk region has remained one of the priority settlements in the Pokrovsky direction for the Russian occupiers. According to the 7th Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the city has been a key target for the enemy for the past six months. There, the Russians are constantly trying to find weak points in the Ukrainian defense, change tactics, build up forces, and make breakthrough attempts.

The situation in the settlement remains under control, although the enemy does not abandon attempts to destabilize the defense.
