Tymoshenko confirmed a night search of the Batkivshchyna office

The leader of the Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, announced the conduct of nightly “urgent investigative actions” at the party office.

According to Tymoshenko, the so-called “urgent investigative actions” lasted all night and, in her opinion, had no legal basis.

“More than thirty armed men, without presenting any documents, effectively seized the building and took the employees hostage,” she said.

Tymoshenko compared the events to the actions of security forces during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych during the Revolution of Dignity.

“The last time Yanukovych’s stormtroopers stormed us like this. But then they at least covered up their invasion with some kind of paper from the court,” the leader of “Batkivshchyna” noted.

She also stated that during the search, law enforcement officers found no evidence, but instead seized her work phones, parliamentary documents, and personal savings.

“They didn’t find anything, so they simply took my work phones, parliamentary documents, and personal savings, which are fully reflected in the official declaration,” Tymoshenko wrote.

The politician categorically rejected all accusations and called the events political persecution, linking them to the approaching elections.

Footage from searches at the Batkivshchyna party office also appeared online.

It was previously reported that anti-corruption authorities reported suspicions to MP and head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko.

As a reminder, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) have uncovered a large-scale scheme to influence the legislative process . In particular, the head of one of the parliamentary factions allegedly offered financial rewards to colleagues for supporting or blocking specific initiatives in the meeting hall. According to unofficial information, this refers to the leader of the “Batkivshchyna” party, Yulia Tymoshenko.
