NABU and SAPO reported suspicions to the current MP Mykola Tyshchenko of extorting illegal benefits, legalizing funds, and entering false information into the declaration. The High Anti-Corruption Court chose a preventive measure in the form of a bail of 10 million hryvnias and imposed a number of procedural obligations on him.

According to NABU, the current MP was reported on suspicion of requesting an illegal benefit, money laundering, and making false statements in the declaration. According to journalists from “Suspilny”, this is Mykola Tyshchenko.
According to the prosecution, in 2023, Tyshchenko began to actively interfere in activities related to call centers and demanded $1 million for “resolving the issue.” On June 29, NABU and SAPO officially notified him of the suspicion.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has set the MP a preventive measure in the form of a bail of 10 million hryvnias. He is also required to appear when summoned by the court, not leave Kyiv, surrender his passport, and wear an electronic bracelet.
During the consideration of the motion, the prosecutor requested that Tyshchenko be placed under arrest with the option of bail of over 19 million hryvnias. The defense insisted on applying a milder measure of restraint, in particular, a personal guarantee. Several of his colleagues in parliament have expressed their readiness to take the MP on bail.
“I disagree with the suspicion and consider it unfounded,” said Mykola Tyshchenko.
The MP also stated that he considers the criminal proceedings against him to be fabricated and accused NABU of collaborating with Khimprom.
