UAE under Iranian missile attack again: Air defense operates throughout the country

On Tuesday, May 5, Iran attacked the United Arab Emirates for the second day in a row with missiles and drones. Air defense systems are operational throughout the country.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the United Arab Emirates and Clash Report.

The department stated that air defense forces are actively repelling missile and drone threats, and the sounds of explosions heard by residents in different regions of the country are related to operations to intercept targets.

According to Clash Report, UAE air defense systems are currently working against ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones launched from Iranian territory.

Official information about the consequences of the attack, possible destruction, or casualties has not yet been released.

The day before, Iran had already launched strikes on the territory of the UAE , so today’s attack was a continuation of the escalation between the countries.

It was previously reported that after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the single decision-making center in Iran effectively disappeared, and key influence passed to the military leadership and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
