UAVs attacked an aircraft factory in Taganrog: facilities related to A-50 and Tu-95 aircraft were hit

On the night of Friday, August 1, powerful explosions were heard in Taganrog and several districts of the Rostov region. According to preliminary information, drones attacked military infrastructure facilities, in particular, the Beriev aircraft factory.
This was reported by the head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andryuschenko.
Eyewitnesses reported at least ten explosions in the city. According to Andryuschenko, there may have been hits in the area of the airline. The village of Petrushino was also hit – the facilities of the 325th aircraft repair and 708th military transport aviation regiments are located there.
The Beriev enterprise specializes in the production of Be-200 seaplanes, the modernization of A-50, A-100, and Tu-95MSM reconnaissance aircraft, as well as the testing of radar surveillance systems.
Acting regional head Yuriy Slyusar confirmed the work of Russian air defense in Taganrog, Novoshakhtynsk, Myasnyky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky, Neklinovsky, and Tarasivsky districts. According to him, there is damage to civilian infrastructure.
In particular, in Novoshakhtynsk, fragments of a UAV hit the roof of a house on Baidukova Street, and windows were broken in a house on Zhovtneva Street, where a large family lives. In the village of Petrushino, the outer wall of a house on Stakhanovskaya Street was damaged, and the roof on Zavodskaya Street caught fire. Dry grass was also burned near the Rodionovo-Nesvetaiskaya Sloboda on an area of 100 sq. m.
Information on the extent of damage to military facilities is currently being clarified. Official Moscow has not commented on the situation.

As reported, on the night of Tuesday, July 29, the city of Salsk in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation was attacked by drones . As a result of the attack, a freight train caught fire and railway schedules were disrupted. Some trains were damaged.
