Ukraine is strengthening cooperation with Germany – new agreements worth more than 1.2 billion euros have been signed with partners.

This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

In particular, the countries reached agreements on the long-term supply of spare parts for Patriot systems, which will allow for faster repair, modernization, and restoration of the complexes that Ukraine has.

According to the head of the Ministry of Defense, the supply of Ukrainian drones is a priority for stopping the enemy’s offensive and increasing its losses, so they agreed to purchase UAVs for 200 million euros.

Contracts were also signed for the uninterrupted supply of the latest electronic warfare equipment at the tactical level.

Among other agreements are the joint production of Ukrainian “Linza” drones and the largest artillery project for the production of 200 units of the Bohdan self-propelled guns on the new Zetros chassis with a total cost of 750 million euros.

As Shmyhal noted, in 2026, Germany committed to allocating 11.5 billion euros to support Ukraine.

“Grateful to Defense Minister Borys Pistorius for announcing this important support during Ramstein. We especially appreciate the transfer of the two promised Patriot systems and the 9th IRIS-T. This will help protect Ukrainian cities and strengthen European security,” he concluded.

As a reminder, following the results of the last meeting in the Ramstein format, it became known that Germany plans to allocate 11.5 billion euros in 2026 to support Ukraine’s defense , focusing on air defense, UAVs, and artillery fire.

Previously, Germany transferred to Ukraine two Patriot air defense systems , which were promised back in August, as well as the ninth IRIS-T system.
