Ukraine and Russia conducted a prisoner exchange: 175 Ukrainians returned home.

Ukraine and Russia conducted another prisoner exchange, during which 175 Ukrainians returned from Russian captivity.

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this.

Those dismissed include service members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces , the National Guard, and the State Border Service of Ukraine . Seven civilians also returned home.

Ukrainian defenders carried out combat missions in various directions, in particular in Mariupol , the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant area, as well as in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kyiv and Kursk directions.

Among those discharged were wounded, and most of them had been in captivity since 2022.
